For some customers, a power interruption may mean they need to make back-up plans to ensure important medical equipment keeps working. Where possible, we will try to contact customers who need electricity for medical reasons, to notify them of a planned or unplanned outage. If the length of an outage will be extreme, these customers may need to make other arrangements. Our Third Party Notification program gives us someone else to contact in the event of a problem with your account. Should a payment problem arise, your "buddy" acts as a go-between to explain the situation or help make satisfactory payment arrangements.
