Update My Account Login to Win $250 Pre-Paid Credit Card Contest 

Please read these Contest Rules (the "Rules") before entering into this contest (the "Contest") as your participation constitutes your agreement and acceptance of the Rules.

 Entry and Eligibility

This contest runs from 3:00 PM (EST) on December 7, 2022 through to 11:59 PM (EST) on December 31, 2022 ("Contest Period"). You will be entered automatically into the "Update My Account Online Login to Win $250” contest (the "Contest"), if you updated your My Account login credentials (new username and/or new password) for My Account portal during the Contest Period.  

This Contest is open to GrandBridge Energy customers (formerly Energy+ customers only) with an existing My Account Online account in good standing, and who are 18 years of age or older. This contest excludes the employees, directors, and officers of GrandBridge Energy Inc. or any of its affiliates, advertising, and promotional agencies, and agents and representatives and the immediate family members of such employees, directors, and officers, their legal or common-law spouse and/or any persons living in the same household. 

There is a limit of one entry per GrandBridge Energy (formerly Energy+ customers only) My Account Online  account. Customers with multiple My Account Online accounts may update each account to be eligible.

Customers who have not updated an existing My Account Online login credentials, during the contest, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

A copy of the Official Contest Rules for this contest will be posted at energyplus.ca/contestrules throughout the Contest Period. By entering this Contest, entrants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Official Contest Rules. GrandBridge Energy reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant they find to be tampering with the entry process or with the operation of this Contest or to be acting in violation of the Official Contest Rules. GrandBridge Energy reserves the rights, in its sole discretion, to amend, cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, without prior notice.

GrandBridge Energy is not responsible for contacting entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information, and assumes no responsibility for entries that are delayed or misdirected during the Contest Period, including any failure to receive an entry as a result of technical problems.

Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of law, and should such an attempt be made, GrandBridge Energy reserves the right to exclude such person from the Contest and to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded in this Contest: 

  • Three (3) pre-paid credit cards, valued at $250.00 (CAD) each, (the “Prize”) (i.e. one prize per winner).
  • Draw Date January 10, 2023.
  • The prize(s) will be awarded within twenty one (21) business days of the winner(s) being verified as submitted updates to an existing My Account Online login credentials (username and/or password), notified, and receipt of winner response to GrandBridge Energy.
  • GrandBridge Energy will make three (3) donations of $250 to the local foodbank in the winners' communities (to a maximum of $750).
 Prize Limits and Exclusions

Submitting and re-submitting a updates to existing My Account Online login credentials or contacting GrandBridge Energy Customer Care will not result in any additional chances to win. Not to be combined with any other offer. Ceasing to be registered for My Account Online portal will result in forfeiting the prize.
 Winner Selection

THE CONTEST BEGINS 3:00 P.M. (EST) ON DECEMBER 7, 2022 AND ALL ENTRIES MUST BE

RECEIVED BY December 31, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. (EST). Three (3) winners will be randomly selected within seven (7) business days following draw date on January 10, 2023, from the total entry pool of customers who have updated an existing My Account Online login credentials (username and/or password) during the Contest Period. Draw will take place at the offices of GrandBridge Energy Inc., 1500 Bishop St., Cambridge, ON, N1R 5X6. Winners will be selected randomly by the GrandBridge Energy team at its head office. Odds of winning the $250 pre-paid Credit Card depends on the number of eligible customers who updated their existing My Account Online login credentials (username/password) during the Contest Period, and meeting the Contest criteria. The eligible entrant(s) randomly selected will be notified via telephone or e-mail or mailing address indicated on the selected winner’s GrandBridge Energy account within seven (7) business days following Draw Date(s). Selected entrant must respond to GrandBridge Energy via email to communications@grandbridgeenergy.com within seven (7) business days of such notification or they will forfeit the prize.   GrandBridge Energy may then select a new name from the remaining eligible entrants. This selection process will continue until an eligible entry is selected and a winner is declared. ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY. NO SUBSTITUTIONS.

In to be declared an official winner, the selected entrant must: 

  1. Respond to the notice that they have been selected as a potential winner within seven (7) business days of the notice;
  2. Correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question by email;
  3. Provide satisfactory identification and proof of eligibility; and
  4. Sign and return (via email or mail) to GrandBridge Energy., within seven (7) business days of receipt thereof, an agreement and release form confirming entrant's eligibility and compliance with the Official Contest Rules, acceptance of the prize, as awarded, and releasing GrandBridge Energy, the supplier of the prizes and their respective advertising and promotional agencies and their affiliates, and employees, directors, officers, agents and representatives, successors and assigns of each, respectively (collectively, the "Releasees") from all liability for damages s/he may incur as a result of participating in this Contest and accepting the pre-paid credit card.

Failure to comply with these Official Contest Rules will cause the prize to be forfeited, in which case, the prize will be re-awarded at GrandBridge Energy's discretion.

All decisions of GrandBridge Energy Inc., including the validation of entries and the evaluation of the entrant's answer to the skill testing question, will be final and binding on the entrant, without right of appeal.

Within seven (7) business days of receipt of the completed agreement and release form, GrandBridge Energy will notify the winner on how the pre-paid credit card can be picked up at their business office at 1500 Bishop Street, Cambridge, ON. 
 Release

By entering this Contest, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that GrandBridge Energy accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages or claims arising from, or caused by, the Contest or the prize awarded, and releases GrandBridge Energy in respect thereof.

By entering this Contest, each entrant further acknowledges and agrees that as a condition of winning, GrandBridge Energy Inc. and its affiliates have the right to use and publicize the winners’ names, which may include publicizing the winners’ names on GrandBridge Energy websites, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, and the fact that he/she has won a specific prize for publicity purposes, without remuneration or liability, except where prohibited by law, and agrees to sign a release acknowledging such rights.

By entering this Contest, each entrant further acknowledges and agrees that as a condition of entering that all entries and submissions become the sole property of GrandBridge Energy Inc. and its affiliates and GrandBridge Energy has the right to use as desired without remuneration or liability. 
 Governing Laws
This promotion is subject to all applicable laws in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
 Winners List
Following the Draw Date, the names of the winner(s) may be posted on GrandBridge Energy website, Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram pages. 
 Personal Information
The personal information gathered about entrants for this Contest will be used only for the administration of this Contest and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose except as permitted or required by law. Any other consent that the entrant has given to GrandBridge Energy to receive commercial electronic messages which are currently in effect, and unrelated to this Contest, shall not be affected by the request for consent made pursuant to this Contest.

Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest in any way (as determined by GrandBridge Energy. in its sole and absolute discretion) is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, GrandBridge Energy reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

GrandBridge Energy reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules, in any way without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, GrandBridge Energy reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.

GrandBridge Energy reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or time frames stipulated in these Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of GrandBridge Energy, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Rules, or for any other reason. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: television, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Rules shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
