March 26, 2019 – Cambridge, Ontario – Energy+ is once again challenging its 65,000 customers throughout the City of Cambridge, Township of North Dumfries, County of Brant and areas around Brantford, to power down, turn off lights and reduce energy use during Earth Hour on Saturday, March 30 from 8:30 pm until 9:30 pm.

“Earth Hour is a symbolic reminder of the power of conservation, but it’s no substitute for adopting proactive, energy saving habits, every hour of the day, every day of the year,” says   Ian Miles, Energy+’s President & CEO.

Energy+ is also reminding its customers of convenient online tools it offers, designed to help them understand and manage their energy consumption and utility account - anytime and anywhere.

  • My Account Online: The online portal, provides detailed hourly, weekly and monthly consumption data, and access to customers’ account information, such as billing, payment information and electronic copies of bills. TIP: Customers can use My Account Online to help lower energy costs, monitor energy consumption, take advantage of low off-peak periods and set up consumption Alerts.
  • Current Time-of-Use Indicator Tool: Available 24/7 on the Energy+ homepage at, this real-time tool shows current time-of-use period and electricity prices. TIP: Customers can use this tool to help lower energy costs, shifting energy use whenever possible, to lowest cost, off-peak periods.
  • Paperless Billing: eBilling gives customers access to their bills anywhere and anytime through My Account Online. Customers receive an email notice when the bill is ready, (about 10 days in advance of the due date). The notification email includes the amount owing and the payment due date. TIP: Customers can sign up for eBilling through My Account Online. For a limited time, customers enrolled in eBilling have two chances every month to win $250 pre-paid credit card.
