Safety at Home

There are hidden electrical hazards in your home. Become familiar with your home's electrical equipment. The Electrical Safety Authority suggests a few common signs you may that could signal a potential hazard:

  • Dim, flickering or surging lights
  • Fuses that constantly blow or breakers that often trip
  • Outlets that don't work when the fuse is replaced or breaker is reset
  • Switches or fuses that are hot to the touch (turn them off immediately)

Holiday Safety

We offer these electrical safety tips to help keep you and your family safe from electrical hazards when decorating your home for the holiday season.

Hire a Licensed Electrical Contractor

Check regularly for new or potential hazards and hire a Licensed Electrical Contractor (LEC) to complete electrical work when needed.

Temporary Disconnect

If you are renovating around your home or performing electricity upgrades, we will temporarily disconnect and reconnect your electricity for free during normal business hours.
