Stay Safe During an Outage
Here are some tips to help keep you and your loved ones safe when the power goes out, as well as how to prepare if you have to leave your home due to flooding.
Portable home generators can be useful during a power outage but they can also be very dangerous if they are not used properly.
Energy+ supplies electric service across 306 square kilometres of overhead wires and underground cables to 62,500 customers, in the City of Cambridge, the Township of North Dumfries and the County of Brant.
When it is necessary for Energy+ to interrupt service to our customers to maintain or upgrade the system, we try to provide our customers with advance notice by letter or verbal communication (for planned outages that are expected to last more than one hour). Have your name added to the list of customers who rely on medical equipment that requires electricity.
