We recognize that not all customers have the same needs. There are a number of different service options designed to meet the needs of customers with varying needs.
Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a year-round emergency financial assistance program offered by the Ontario Energy Board in order to assist low-income energy customers better manage their bill payments and energy costs. It is not intended for regular or ongoing bill payment assistance. Social service agencies screen and assess applicants in need. OEB LEAP Brochure (.pdf).

Customers in Cambridge and North Dumfries contact Waterloo Region Social Services or call 519-883-2100 and select Option 1. The Waterloo Regional Energy Assistance Program (WREAP) helps households with low-incomes avoid the consequences of not being able to pay their utility bill. WREAP Brochure (.pdf).
Ontario Electricity Support Program
Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) helps reduce electricity bills for low-income households with a monthly on-bill credit. The amount of the credit will depend on how many people live in the house and the combined household income. Home Assistance Program
The Home Assistance Program is designed to help qualified participants improve the energy efficiency in their homes to help reduce energy use, manage energy costs, improve home comfort and reduce the demand on the electricity system..
