Energy+ Donates Bucket Truck to Conestoga College to Help Train Future Powerline Crews

Cambridge and Ingersoll, ON (February 10, 2022) – Energy+ was amped to support Conestoga College's Powerline Technician Program by donating a bucket truck to enhance the College's fleet of training vehicles. Representatives from Energy+'s Operations Team, including an Energy+ Apprentice who is a recent graduate, were on hand in Ingersoll this week to hand over the keys to the bucket truck.

Energy+ Inc. has been advised by the Independent System Operator (IESO) that a system voltage reduction test is scheduled for Tuesday February 1, 2022, as part of mandatory testing of its emergency operating measures.  The province-wide test will consist of two voltage reduction exercises of approximately one hour each in duration.
